I've finally posted the story of, and photos from, the August 29, 2009 reunion of the Seattle Pilots. Steve Cox is still busy editing his documentary about the Pilots, which should include lots of video from the event. Check out his Web site for updates!

I've added two more guests to the Interviews section. This time, it's Pilots PR director Bill Sears and stadium watchdog Frank Ruano. I plan to do a series of new interviews in 2010, including lots of the Pilots players.

We do have some sad news, too. Don J. Nelson, the man who won the contest that gave the Pilots their name, passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2009. His prize for naming the Pilots was a trip to spring training and I was going to interview him about the experience when I got the bad news. I met Don at the Pilots reunion and he said that he would be happy to have me share his photos with you, which I will do in my February update. Our thoughts go out to his family.
