This page features sound clips of Jimmy Dudley and Bill Schonely, taken from the Pilots vs. A's game, played March 28, 1970, in Mesa, Arizona. It was the team's second-to-last game as the Pilots and was, I suspect, a good deal looser than most of Dudley and Schonely's broadcasts. They chat with fans in the stands, poke fun at the University of Washington football team, make more than one reference to the Pilots' possible move and there's even a jovial mention of E. B. Smith, co-developer of the Pilots' spring training complex in Tempe and who, shortly after, sued the team's owners.

The Joe Schultz interview clips were recorded July 1969. This is the box in which the reel-to-reel tape arrived.
